Dear Joyce, I have recently joined the company as a sales executive. It is a matter of great delight for me to get an opportunity to work at such a reputed organization. As a responsible team member, I would like to bring to your notice the lack of hygiene in the office cafeteria. On my few visits to the cafeteria, I have noticed that the tables are generally dirty. Even the cutlery, plates, dishes and cups available are not cleaned properly. The dustbins are overflowing and seldom cleared on time. Moreover, the food available is mostly stale and does not meet quality standards. It is a matter of grave concern as almost all employees often visit the cafeteria for their meals. Not only will this affect the health of the employees impacting their efficiency, but will also reflect badly on the image of the company as it depicts its lack of concern for its employees. The company should ensure that the issue is addressed at once. Fresh and healthy food should be made available for the employees. It would also be beneficial if a supervisor is appointed to ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the office cafeteria.
