To whomsoever it may concern, I would like to draw your attention towards the inconvenience I faced while travelling with your bus service recently. One of my suitcases got misplaced due to the utter carelessness of your staff. I travelled with your CanExpress Bus from Toronto to Montreal on March 6, 2019. I handed over my new red coloured Samsonite suitcase (size 50 x 70 cm) for check-in as requested by the staff. It contained some essential documents, new clothing articles and a few personal belongings. When I arrived at the destination on March 7, my checked-in luggage did not arrive at my destination and has now been missing for 21 days. Your staff stood clueless when I asked about my luggage. I am highly disappointed and I would request you to help me track down my suitcase as soon as possible. Or else, I am entitled to due compensation under the Conditions on Carriage listed on your website. I am enclosing copies of my bus ticket for your reference. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Yours sincerely , Stacy Mark
I am strongly in favour of carrying out anti-littering campaigns. It would serve as an ideal alternative to educate and spread awareness about keeping our surroundings clean and will also cater to the society and nation at large. One of the main reasons for littering is that people in our neighbourhood lack concern for others or for the environment. If we sensitize them by telling them about the importance of keeping their surroundings clean, they will not only put their first foot forward in tackling the issues but will also encourage others to take the right step. People in our neighbourhood also lack the awareness about the effects of littering. Many take them to be aesthetic and environmental only, but very few know that there is lot more to this. Little do they realize that they are risking the health of their own and others living in the neighbourhood. Unless people are made aware about the ill-effects of littering, they cannot be stopped from doing this. Often, it is the absence of information about the right source that shuts people down from taking the required action. They do not know who to report to. By starting the anti-litter campaigns, people can be told about all these aspects which will further reduce cases of littering in the neighbourhood. The clean, green, and beautiful environment must be aimed for. This is the only thing we can give back to our community. We must understand that it’s the collective action that makes all the difference.
Neighbourhood Cleanliness Survey The residents of your neighbourhood are upset over the rising litter problem. The secretary of your society has sent an opinion survey to seek suggestions from residents to redress the issue.
