Hey, Jeremy! I am proud that you have decided to be a fighter. No disease can stand in your way to lead a healthy and happy life. I had been doing a lot of internet surfing since the day I got to know about you. I even consulted a dietitian. First of all Jer, you need to indulge in some sort of physical activity. You may start with a regular walk. Just don’t exert your body so much. And, most importantly, you need to bring a change in your diet. Stop eating those ready-to-eat foods. They are a big NO for you. Eat healthy and add fruits to your diet. Eating good food is really important but we cannot ignore the importance of right time to eat this food. We usually eat when we get free and feel content with two or three meals. However, the dietitian suggested to take a meal after every 2-3 hours and keep the meal size small. This would help in boosting energy levels. It is high time that you start considering your health. I can only tell you the ways but it is you who has to take the initiative.
I’ve spent a greater part of my life living in the country and moving to a city came as an overwhelming experience. I had to move to the city in search of a job; I couldn’t find one back home. As soon as I landed in the city, I could not find myself coping with the fast pace of the city. It was difficult initially as I had to figure out everything - where to eat, where to live, how to go about the city and so on. I missed the simple life I used to lead in the village having quiet, harmony and a clean environment. That was indeed a bliss. It took me some time to understand the ways people live here in city. Nonetheless, I don’t feel that way anymore. The life here may be fast but it also offers a great deal of advantages. I can now get everything in an instant. I don’t have to wait for things as I had to earlier at a local store - be it medicines or even food. But there is one thing that I still miss about my place, that is, the sense of belongingness. I knew the place and I knew the people there. Thinking about that life still brings tears to my eyes. Although life here is good and improved, I still miss my home back there.
The picture displays an action-packed beach where people of all age-groups can be seen basking in the glorious sun. In the top-right, a boy in the green can be seen making a dog catch a frisbee. Just near him, an old-age couple is resting on the beach chairs where the man is engrossed in reading some book while the woman looks on. Towards the bottom right of the picture, there’s a woman sitting with an infant on her lap, under the umbrella. And the girl in pink sitting beside the woman is busy putting some cream on her body. Three kids can be seen towards the extreme right, where a boy in yellow shorts is holding an ice-cream that seems to be melting and the other two kids are busy clicking pictures of a crab. Three children are involved in building a sand castle while their friend runs towards them with a shovel. A young couple, in the centre of the picture, is seen walking away from the beach. On the extreme left, a family can be seen munching on fruits and sandwiches.
There are a few things that I feel could happen in the given picture. The girl standing with a tube around her waist will get into the water. The boy with the shovel will reach to the children who are building the sand castle and might accidentally destroy the castle. The couple carrying an umbrella and a basket, in the centre of the picture, will find a spot for themselves. The family eating bread and fruits will finish munching them. The birds at the bottom of the picture might just fly away perhaps after getting scared from the crowd on the beach. The old man in the left of the picture might finish reading the book. The girl in pink would finish putting cream on her body. The ice-cream cone held by the boy in yellow shorts may melt away completely. The girl shooting the crab is too close to it and by looking at the scary face of the fellow girl it appears that the crab may sting her.
Dad, keeping in view the utility and technology, I think we should go for the Epson Inkjet Multifunction Printer. Right from the look, model, and features, it fits with our purpose perfectly. It is ultra-compact and wireless printer with 5760 X 1440 Dpi prints and 1200 Dpi optical scans. It prints top-quality pictures. Plus, the two-year on-site warranty makes it a must-buy. In case it breaks down, the technicians would come at our place to fix it. On the other hand Brother- MFC is a good choice as it offers a warranty for up to 3 years. But it is off-site and in case of any wreak we would have to take it to the service centre. Lastly, if we compare the prices, Epson surely falls in our budget than Brother- MFC printer. I got an amazing review about the Epson from my close friend Jamy who has been using it since long. He’s certainly satisfied and feels it is worth every penny spent. Thus, in my view, we must buy it.
Hi John, I am afraid I can’t attend the annual day celebration that we have this Saturday as I need to be present at my son’s graduation ceremony the same day. Being a single parent, he looks up to me for everything and I need to be there with him to cheer him up. It is a special day for him and I don’t want to let him down by not being there. I hope you will understand that this is a really important day that Brad will be cherishing for days to come. I don’t want to come across as a bad parent or a bad role model for my son who is not there for his family even on important occasions. My presence there will give his confidence a boost and I want to be a proud parent. Brad is also being honoured for his outstanding achievements in sports this year and I never felt so proud. I’m happy to associate with such an amazing company that has always appreciated my efforts and contribution towards the organizational goals. I hope today also you will understand my situation. Please excuse me this time.
I strongly feel that physical education should be an essential component of the school curriculum. In today’s technology-driven world, where students either stick to their gadgets and have no time for physical activity, making PE or physical education a part of school time makes all the more sense. Physical education fosters the physical, moral, social, emotional, cultural and intellectual development of pupils. And this makes it even more essential as nowadays we see many pupils become overweight or obese because they get no time for any physical activity. The benefits of physical education are not limited to physical health only. It contributes greatly in stimulating mental, social, and emotional health as well. Physical education can prepare students with the skills they can use to make healthy choices throughout their lifetime. It cuts down the risk of addiction involving alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. For all these reasons, I feel that physical education in school is a must.
Hey Dan! You won’t believe what I found for the haunted house you have been designing for quite a few months. It is a chandelier with 5 upper body skeletons coming out of a centre. The skeletons are joined together with a huge ring on top. Their skulls are facing outwards giving it a spooky look. A centre light bulb glows in the middle giving it a rather scary appearance. It appears that the ribs are all lighted when the bulb is turned on. The finger bones are hanging on the side with light golden chains. Some small-sized skulls are also hanging with golden chains. I’m amazed how the skulls of these skeletons are protruding outwards but are still on the chandelier. Someone standing below it would really be terrified. On the whole, I think this can be a very attractive and terrifying decoration for the haunted house.
