Hey Sam, I was speaking to Rob the other day and he happened to mention that that you’re planning to quit your current job and start a new business. It’s great that you have started taking such matters in life seriously and I’m sure that you have given it much thought. But if you ask me, I feel that you’re too young to start a business right now. It’s been only three years since you have been doing job and that too just after your graduation. Though opening a business may give you the opportunity to earn big bucks, I think at this stage in life, the odds are clearly not in your favour. The chances of failing are quite high as you’re relatively inexperienced. You can’t ignore that. I’ll say that you must continue with your stable job for some more years to save some money so you won’t have to worry about not making enough initially. Plus, in the meantime, you can keep learning and equip yourself with the right set of business skills to prepare you for the life ahead.

Though I’m not an adventure junkie, skydiving has always thrilled me. It has always been on my bucket list since I was young and learnt what it is like to have adventure in life from my elder sister. She had her first skydiving experience when she was barely 15 and described it as one of the best experiences that she had. Two years back, I had my first skydive ever. I felt as if I was caught in a whirlwind but I wasn’t scared. Although it took me a few minutes in the plane to brace myself when the plane was over 4000 m high, I still have no idea how the freefall, the parachute ride, and the landing all happened in a fraction of second. I guess my mind wasn’t working. I remember how crazily and wildly I reacted as I touched the ground. I couldn’t hold myself laughing and shouting. The energy in me was unbound. And I think that’s the feeling you get after conquering your fears and coming out alive. That’s the experience I would want to re-live over and over again.

I think the boy who is painting will soon finish his painting. I also feel that the kids playing with the red ball may bump into the old lady as they’re completely engrossed in playing. The little baby sitting on the edge of the bench close to her mother may fall off and start crying while the one who is being calmed may finally stop crying. The friends relaxing in the centre of the park may pack their things up and leave. On the tree house, the boy in the purple t-shirt will reach the top while the one hanging upside down may fall off the tree. In the background, the passengers standing in the queue will board the bus and reach their destination on time.

Dear Gennie! We’re done with almost all the preparations for our boy’s first birthday. We both are equally excited to surprise him with the best. But I am afraid to tell you that I may not able to take leave from the office as we have a training session coming up for all the employees of our organization. The boss has made it really clear that we all need to attend it. I’ve tried to convince the boss about the same, but he said that our directors will be conducting the training session acquainting the employees with all new developments. It would be a full-day training session where employees will undergo practical training as well. He further added that it could be a life changing experience and I must attend it. Since we’ve made all the arrangements and payments, I request you to get along Sam’s cousins and friends and plan something here at home. Maybe I could also join in later that day.

Nowadays, most of the students have their own study habits and patterns. Some like to study alone while some like to study in a group. I do feel that studying alone is a better way of learning than group studies. Although studying in a group creates team spirit and students can easily resolve their problems within the group, yet I always prefer studying alone in my room or in a library. It helps me to channelize my focus and concentration towards better learning. I can readily pace myself with minimal or no distraction. I read out loud to strengthen my concepts. It helps me in avoiding unwanted waste of time in travelling or chit-chat. I believe that in-depth study is only possible with self-study!

Hi! I am calling to see whether you have a collection of vintage watches. I’d like to buy one that I’ve found online. I have it right before me on screen so please see if you have it. It has a moss-green strap with three separate small dials. One dial has the hour hand, the second one has the minute hand, and the third one has a second hand. The dials are in dull gold colour, looking extremely attractive on top of a green base. Oh, and it also has an adjustable strap with some holes to fit the wrist.
