Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to complain that I have received a faulty hair dryer upon my recent purchase from your store located at Edmont Street. I came and purchased this Phillips hair dryer 320 on 4th May. I tried to use it when I reached back home. To my surprise a very strong sound blared for a few seconds from the dryer and then it went off. I pushed the buttons and tried to start it again, but all in vain. I have already been using many other products from of the similar brand, but never had such an experience. I can only understand that this particular product I received was faulty. As a dedicated customer, I hope you will work to resolve the issue and offer me a satisfactory solution. I would be grateful if you get it replaced or refund the entire amount if the former is not possible. Please find attached a copy of the invoice along with a copy of the hair dryer’s guarantee card. I am willing to wait for a week post which I will be forced to seek assistance of the customer protection agency. I await a prompt response from your end. Sincerely, Edith Johnson
Offering free samples, discounts, and special purchasing opportunities to regular customers shows them that you value their presence. As per the wide-spread adage, ’the customer is the king’, every business needs to accentuate the significance of customers. To upgrade the customer purchasing experience, both the ways are effective, but I will go with option 1. It makes them feel valued and honoured. Our store should plan a program to reward customer loyalty through discount cards, gift hampers, loyalty card scheme, discount vouchers, customer bonus schemes, etc. Rewarding the loyal customers, who helped us grow and succeed, is essential for the brand survival. It encourages them to keep coming back. The customers should feel appreciated for their every purchase. A personalized program will make the customers feel like they have an emotional connection with our brand. The special ’surprise and delight’ points or rewards for special occasions such as customers’ birthdays are also one of the options. Thus, to make a long lasting impression and create an environment where customers want to visit over and again, rewarding the regular ones plays a key role.
