Hey Mary! I heard you were not doing so well. It is absolutely fine to feel that way. I know you are used to being good at everything you do and this must be a very hard pill for you to swallow. I also know that you must have done everything in your power to prepare for this exam. So, you shouldn’t be beating yourself up so much about it. First things first, pick yourself up and brush off all negative thoughts. It is ok to struggle sometimes. Just breathe and relax so you can begin to work on it with a fresh frame of mind. After that, start with analysis. Evaluate everything and try to identify what went wrong. You know you did not lack in hard work so try and think what else could have stopped you from getting the desirable outcome. Once you identify the cause, start working on the solution. Make a solid plan for your preparations and stick to it. Follow through with your routine and you will surely be able to overcome this problem. Continuously test and challenge yourself because otherwise you might get too comfortable and overconfident which might not work in your favour. If you strategically try to tackle it, I believe you will be able to excel for sure. We all have full faith in you and will offer you our full support. Trust yourself. All the best.
I’m the kind of a person who likes dancing in the rain, so naturally I enjoy the rainy days the most. It is true that the weather affects our mood and for me the rains always seem to come with a better change of mood. There is one specific day, however that was so enjoyable for me that I will always cherish it. It was about two years back when I was in college. My friends and I were in the college canteen when the dark clouds covered the sky beautifully and a cool breeze started blowing. We decided to make a fun day out of it and went for a long drive. We were driving in my friend’s car on a road which is the best in my city for long drives because of the many trees along it on both sides and the peace and quiet as not much traffic can be found there. We had the windows down to enjoy the perfect weather and our favourite songs were playing on the music system at the top volume. To make things better, rain started falling. It was perfect. We were singing in the car even though our voices were horrible, but no one cared. It was a very special moment because it was our last year of college and we knew we probably might not get many other opportunities like this; so we were enjoying every bit of it to the fullest. After driving around for a while we stopped at a roadside tea stall and had some tea and fritters. After some time we found a beautiful clearing where we stopped and started dancing in the rain. That combination of the most amazing friends and weather made it all the more wonderful.
The image is of a park or an outdoor space where people come for picnic. In this image some people seem to be having a picnic. It is a bright sunny day. Firstly, on what looks like a cycling track, a bicycle is lying with a pink coloured balloon tied to its handle. Near that bike, there are some toys like a caterpillar, a boat, a plane, a car, and so on. These toys probably belong to the girls sitting on the grass who are busy fighting over a doll. There is a dismantled toy right in front of them. One of the girls is crying while the other one is trying to pull the doll from her hands. A little dog is happily hopping around with a carrot in his mouth. He has a collar, so he is most likely a pet. There is a blanket laid out on the grass with a picnic basket and some cutlery laid out. Apart from this, there is a boy who is trying to climb up the slide from the wrong side. Nearby is a cat who is raising its little paw trying to catch a butterfly. Two women are sitting on a bench talking to each other. One of them is holding a baby while the other is holding a book.
There are a few things that I feel could happen in this image. First off the dog running about with the carrot is going to either eat it or dig a hole to bury it in like most dogs do. However, the bee flying towards him could annoy him so much that it may drop the carrot to chase it away. The cat is going to run after the butterfly and might end up hitting the picnic basket, scattering everything around. The boy climbing up the slide from the wrong side might get distracted by all that is happening around him and slip and fall flat on his face. He is quite likely to cry. If all this chaos is not enough to disturb the two women who are enjoying a conversation, the two fighting girls are going to continue their squabble and one of them is about to start weeping loudly which will for sure make the two women get up from the bench and notice the chaotic environment surrounding them. The two women will then get into damage control, handling one problem at a time and come to the realization that their hope of enjoying a nice sunny afternoon picnic has been washed off by their children.
Hey Lennie! I am so excited for Timmy’s birthday party. That little trouble maker is already 5 years old. There are so many options nowadays for a child’s birthday party. I think that the idea you presented sounds really fun and it is a unique idea. However, I think we should choose the carnival idea. Firstly, Timmy loves going to carnivals. Whenever there is one in town he doesn’t rest until he has visited it about 3-4 times. Moreover, it will cost less than the barnyard party. I know Timmy enjoys being around animals but I don’t think all of his 5 year old friends are going to appreciate being around animals. It would be quite difficult to handle that situation. Besides, there are many fun activities being offered in the carnival package like the jumping castle. I remember being a kid and wanting nothing more than that on my birthday. A clown will also be performing an act for the kids. I think the kids will love it. The balloon pop game will be very popular among the kids. You know how kids love breaking and popping things. We could arrange some gifts for the winners so it will be a nice competition. Add the bottle toss game to it and it will be the perfect birthday for a 5 year old. So what do you say?
Hey Regina! I know we haven’t spent quality time in a while and you really wanted to spend time with me this weekend. I know we have been trying to make a plan for weeks and you really want to come with Penny and me to the movies. Sadly, I think we will have to reschedule our plan. Do not take this the wrong way, but you know Penny is leaving in a few days and we might not get to spend time again for a long time. It does not mean that she or I do not want to spend time with you, but we really need some quality time together. She has been my best friend since the 1 grade and now she is moving to another city. It is a very difficult time for her and me as well. We have never stayed apart for more than a week and now we might not see each other for months. We planned for this weeks ago and I think it would be very rude of me to include you in it all of a sudden. We really have a lot to talk about and a lot of things planned out like shopping. I know you hate shopping and would be miserable the whole time. I promise to make it up to you. The movie you have been waiting for is releasing next week and I have already booked tickets for the both of us. Moreover, I have a lot of fun things planned for us, but I will not ruin the surprise right now. So, forgive me for this time and be ready to be amazed by all the things I have in store for you.
Sadly, today the materialistic world judges success by how many things a person owns. According to me success is a very subjective concept. Its meaning varies from person to person. Yes for the people who aim to earn lots of money and get all the stuff that they desire, money could mean success. Besides, money does not usually fall into people’s laps easily. It has to be earned with lots of hard work and dedication. So, in that case it does make a person successful. For instance, Bill Gates, who is one of the richest people in the world, is considered to be quite successful and rightfully so. However, there are many other paths from where someone could earn money like inheritance or unfair practices and if a person has gained wealth from any of them, then he is not successful in my opinion. Moreover, there are a lot of people who are known and remembered for their work and not for the wealth they acquired. Mother Teresa is the biggest exemplification in this case. She is one of the most loved and revered people, even after her passing, because of all her good deeds. Apart from this, many people consider fulfilling careers to be a measure of success even though there might not be a lot of money involved. For them being good at their job is what makes them successful. Nevertheless, I feel a person is successful if he can accomplish all the goals that he set for himself, be it personal or professional. A person who is happy from within and living his best life is truly at the epitome of success.
Hey Jason! I was really glad to hear that you were thinking of opening a café. I think it is a great idea and guess what? I just found the most perfect mug for your café. I know you are into sports and are planning to give your café a sport bar sort of vibe, so the mug would fit right in. The mug is shaped like a basketball that has been cut open. It is orange on the outside with black lines just like a basketball and white on the inside. It is not very big but has a good width. I think it would be suitable for serving hot chocolate. Its handle looks like a curved basketball pole and is also white in colour. On top of it is the hoop. It has an orange rim and a white net. You can serve the hot chocolate with some marshmallows by putting them through the hoop. I feel like it would be a really cool addition to your cutlery. It would make your sports café seem more authentic.
