My name is Jack. I’m currently living in Calgary with my family. I had been working for Acme Inc. company since last 5 years and have recently been promoted to the post of branch manager. I would have to move to Leduc with my family as I have been made responsible for the Leduc branch. We are family of four - including me, my wife and two children. I would like an apartment with two bedrooms, a hall and a kitchen. As my children are quite young, I would like to get an accommodation in an area which provides easy access to facilities like good school, parks and so on. However, I am afraid that I don’t have a big budget as I would have to make a lot of expenses while moving places. I would be comfortable with a rent of around 200-250 dollars, exclusive of other maintenance bills.My joining date is 25 in order to adjust to the place before I start my job. Kindly get back to me as soon as possible with the available options so that we can decide timely. It would be great if you could send a brochure.

While hiring, a company must be very careful in choosing the source of hiring. In my opinion, external recruitment is better than employee referrals as a method to bring new employees on-board.

Given that employee referrals do offer a greater hiring speed at a lesser price, our company cannot rely upon this method completely. Hiring new employees is a critical decision which can have long lasting impacts, so it should be completely unbiased. Besides some cliques could form, disrupting the overall cooperation among the employees. If employees are hired through the internal channel, it could even lead to stagnation in the organization. All of this can be avoided by selecting employees through external recruitment. Not only would this method provide the company with a larger pool of applicants, but it would also provide us with the opportunity to attain a more specialized workforce with a fresh outlook. It may also act as a motivation for the current employees to start performing their jobs in a better manner and get out of their comfort zones.So, I think that the company should go for external recruitment while hiring new employees.
