Firstly, I think adding monetary value to rewards makes it more meaningful. I believe there is nothing quite like money. The entire team worked hard this year to achieve and even surpass our targets. Thus, with gift cards we can easily talk about being rewarded for our achievements without it feeling like we are showing off. Lastly, we would also be getting a tax benefit.
